# Outdoor GatewaysでPoEスイッチを使用する

配下のデバイス向けに電力とポート数を増やすため、outdoor gatewaysでPoEスイッチを使用する

屋外ゲートウェイでPoEスイッチを使用すると、Verkadaカメラなどの下流デバイスに利用できる電力やポート数を増やすことができます。次のトポロジーを推奨します:

このトポロジーでは、顧客提供のPoEスイッチがゲートウェイのPoE Inポートに電力を供給し、同じポートからデータを受信します。この構成を有効にするには、PoE **In** ポートの設定をLANに変更します。
