# Wi-Fi Gateway Status LEDs

The Verkada Wi-Fi gateway is equipped with a status LED, which lets you know what’s happening at a glance. This article explains the different LED characteristics to help you understand what they mean.

## GW31-E status LEDs

The LED status light consists of the following states:

* **Solid orange**—GW31-E is on and booting up
* **Flashing orange**—GW31-E is updating firmware
* **Solid blue**—GW31-E is running and online
* **Flashing blue**—GW31-E is running and offline
* **Flashing green**—GW31-E Bluetooth is on and broadcasting
