Verkada is announcing the end-of-sale of the [BC51 Alarm Console](https://docs.verkada.com/docs/bc51-quick-start-guide.pdf), to be replaced by the [BC82 Alarm Console](https://www.verkada.com/alarms/console/).

## FAQ

### What does this mean?

As of **September 1, 2023**, we will no longer sell the BC51 Alarm Console for net new installations. All existing orders for the BC51 will be fulfilled. Verkada typically provides support for a given product for a period of ten (10) years after the end-of-sale date.

### Can customers return a BC51 that they have purchased?

Customers may return BC51 *within 30 days of purchase*.

### What happens if a BC51 under warranty needs to be replaced?

We will replace BC51 units with a BC82 unit if BC51’s are no longer available.
