Verkada is announcing the upcoming end-of-sale of the [AD33 Door Reader](https://docs.verkada.com/docs/door-reader-ad33-datasheet.pdf), to be replaced by the [AD34 Mullion Door Reader](https://docs.verkada.com/docs/ad34-door-reader-datasheet.pdf) and [AD64 Keypad Door Reader](https://docs.verkada.com/docs/ad64-door-reader-datasheet.pdf).

End-of-Support date for this product will be **August 1, 2035**.

## FAQ

### What does this mean?

As of August 1, 2025, we will no longer sell the AD33 Door Reader for net new installations. All existing open orders for the AD33 will be fulfilled with AD34. Verkada typically provides support for a given product for a period of ten (10) years after the end-of-sale date.

### Can customers return any AD33 that they purchased?

Customers may return AD33 *within 30 days of purchase*.

### What happens if an AD33 under warranty needs to be replaced?

We will replace AD33 units with AD34 units if AD33s are no longer available.
