**仕組み**

実際のパスワードがVerkadaの外に出ることはありません。パスワードのSHA-1ハッシュを作成し、そのハッシュの最初の5文字のみをHIBPに送信します。HIBPは可能な一致の一覧を返します。Verkadaは、パスワードやメールアドレスを誰にも明かすことなく、パスワードが漏えいしているかどうかをローカルで確認します。

このプロセスにより、パスワードのプライバシーを保ちながら、アカウントの安全が確保されます。
