# 非Verkadaチャネル向けに H.265 を設定する

H.265 は、Verkada Command Connector 経由で接続されたカメラでは H.264 より高いレベルの映像品質を提供します。H.265 を再生できないデバイスには、同じ映像が H.264 にトランスコードされて配信されます。

### 開始する前に

H.265 には以下のすべてが必要です。

* カメラが H.265 をサポートしている
* カメラには 2 つの H.265 エンコーダーがあり、1 つは高品質（HQ）ストリーミングする用、もう 1 つは標準品質（SQ）ストリーミングする用です
* チャネルはパン・チルト・ズーム（PTZ）カメラではありません。PTZ カメラには H.264 が必要です。

## 構成

## コーデックを変更できない場合

設定ページのコーデック選択にカーソルを合わせると、変更できない理由を確認できます。

### コーデックとメーカー モード

ストリーミング機能プロファイルの選択とコーデックは別々の設定です。メーカー モードでは、選択したコーデックが引き続き適用されます。

* クリックすると **変更** の横の *現在のプロファイル*、別のコーデックを使用するプロファイルは一覧に残り、利用できなくなります。 *コーデック* を H.265 に設定すると、H.264 プロファイルを選択できず、その逆も同様です。
* *現在のプロファイル* 適用されている HQ および SQ プロファイルに対して H.264 または H.265 を表示します。適用されているコーデックが不明な場合、コーデック列にはダッシュが表示されます。
