# Batería de respaldo para el AC41
Aprenda a usar una batería de respaldo en su controlador de puerta AC41 de Verkada
Los controladores de puertas Verkada aportan una simplicidad plug-and-play al control de acceso de nivel empresarial. El [Controlador de puerta Verkada AC41](https://www.verkada.com/access-control/ac41/) es compatible con el hardware de puerta y los lectores de tarjetas existentes, al tiempo que permite acceso basado en la nube a un número ilimitado de puertas y eventos en toda su organización.
Verkada ofrece el **ACC-BAT-4AH** para su uso con el AC41, donde puede ser alimentado por una batería de plomo-ácido sellada (SLA) de 12 V y 4,5 Ah como fuente de alimentación de respaldo.
## Instale una batería de respaldo en su AC41
En caso de un corte de energía, o en situaciones en las que su Verkada [Controlador de acceso](https://docs.verkada.com/docs/access-controllers-series-overview.pdf) está alimentando cerraduras o se está utilizando en aplicaciones críticas de seguridad, le recomendamos encarecidamente que considere un plan de respaldo de batería.
Conecte el **rojo** cable con el terminal positivo (**+**) de la batería y el **negro** cable al terminal negativo (**-**). Luego, el paquete de baterías puede colocarse dentro de la carcasa del Verkada AC41.
